People President and founder of the corporation is Jurij Petrin, M.D. Before starting the company he was Vice President, Intercontinental Regulatory Science at Bristol-Myers Squibb. John Bedard provides the US FDA liaison and development support. An experienced pharmaceutical industry veteran, he has recently retired from Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he was Vice President, FDA Liaison and Global Strategy for Cardiovascular, Dermatology, Immunology and Endocrinology. Distinguished academic physicians, members of the Scientific Advisory Board, provide medical and clinical consulting: Stevo Julius, M.D. Sc.D. and Bertram Pitt, M.D., both Professors of Internal Medicine from the University of Michigan Medical School, as well as Bojan Cercek, M.D. Ph.D., Director of the Coronary Care Unit at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Co-Director of the Atherosclerosis Research Center, and Associate Professor in Residence, UCLA School of Medicine. Vice President of Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance is Vilma Petrin, M.D. Vilma brings over 20 years experience in the medical field, and over 9 years in Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance. Experience Each professional member of our team has on average more than 15 years of experience in major multinational pharmaceutical companies in positions that enabled us to develop regulatory, clinical, and general drug development expertise, as well as the requisite contacts and working relationships with regulatory authorities within our regions.
